Camp Undercliff Forever! by: David (Moose) Wildermuth
Hi Nancy,
I recently discovered some slides, taken by my father, in 1948. It was my privilege to spend seven summers as an eight week camper from 1945 through 1951. What great memories!
Would like to find other alums. If you google "camp undercliff-paradise for boys and girls", you will see some comments from the alums but no way to contact.
If you would like to see the pictures, contact me at davchar@cavtel.net.
Best regards,
Dave

It's a start! by: Debbie, Publisher
Hi Nancy,
Great memory! It's wonderful to know that our mountains were being enjoyed back then.
To answer your question, a "46er" is someone who has climbed all 46 of the designated Adirondack High Peaks. These must be documented climbs, and a letter must be written and sent to the Adirondack 46er organization. Then they'll start a file on you and as you climb each mountain and document each climb, they'll add it to your file.
So you've only got 45 more mountains to go!!
Loved your story - thanks so much for contributing.
