 While I can't ensure that your thoughts are always "placid", I can send you my Placid Thoughts newsletter. I wish I could send along a whiff of Adirondack mountain air, too - maybe someday we'll have "smell-screens" (after all, we already have touch-screens!).
Seriously, though, I'd love to send you my newsletter, once a month, delivered right to your email inbox. In it, you'll find things like:
- Upcoming events and happenings in the Lake Placid area
- Bits of Adirondack lore and interesting history
- An authentic Adirondack recipe
- And anything else that's new around the High Peaks area
As a thank you for subscribing, I'll send you a copy of Adirondack Adventure - One of the Most Scenic Drives in America. This is a description, along with driving directions and a map, of a drive through the Adirondack Park. This particular route has been ranked as one of the most scenic drives that you can take, so if you're yearning to hit the open road, this travel advice might be just what you're looking for.
And, you don't have to worry about sending your email address to me. I hate spam as much as you do, so I give you my word that I'll only use it to send you Placid Thoughts.
