Since Lake Placid has been privileged to host TWO Winter Olympic games, it has plenty of lodging available. After all, they had to put all of those visitors somewhere! There are charming bed and breakfasts, where you'll be treated like family, and even rustic hostels if you're in Lake Placid for the great hiking.
