| Stay At A Romantic Lake Placid Bed and Breakfast
If you're looking for quality lodgings, a Lake Placid Bed and Breakfast should definitely be on your list of places to try. Any one of these great family homes will treat you to a romantic indulgence, just for the two of you. Some of them are more rustic and some are luxurious, but they'll all provide you with a wonderful experience, making memories you'll treasure for years to come. This list is by no means a complete listing, but as I get to Lake Placid for more "research" I'll add more. The first B & B we'll look at is the Spruce Lodge Bed and Breakfast, located at 6034 Sentinel Road in the heart of Lake Placid. This Lodge has been owned and run by the same family for over 50 years!
They have a wide variety of different accommodations, in the Main House, the Apartment and the Cottage. They'll provide you with bath robes and private baths in your room, and there are board games and a color TV in the common room. There's also a BBQ grill out back! If you're a business traveler, you can get some work done with a fax machine, copier and internet access.
The Spruce Lodge sits on an acre and a half, with a large pond. And they're only 10 minutes from all the fun and excitement of Lake Placid!

The Interlaken Inn, located at 39 Interlaken Avenue, is a well-known Lake Placid Bed and Breakfast. It's known not only for its lovely rooms, but also for its fine dining. The Interlaken has several suites and a Carriage House, all very well-appointed. You can sink into a featherbed with down pillows and a duvet in any room, along with quality towels, robes and Aveda amenities.

The Winterberry Bed and Breakfast is a wonderfully historic building located at 172 Newman Road in Lake Placid. It's about a mile and a half from the village center. The three beautiful guest rooms are all newly renovated and each includes a private bath. Innkeeper Aggie Saunderson will provide you with a full breakfast in the morning after a restful sleep. The last, but by no means the least, Lake Placid Bed and Breakfast on our list is Brooks Sunshine Cottage Bed and Breakfast, located at 15 Maple Street in Lake Placid. As with many of these B & B's, there are a variety of accommodation types. You can choose the Main House, which is decorated in European style and is a century old traditional home. You'll be served a buffet breakfast by the friendly hosts Bernie and Joe.
Right next door to the Main House are the Annex Apartment Suites. This is a separate Victorian, with a beautiful wrap=around front porch, just perfect for "porch-sitting" and taking in those Adirondack views. These are two-room suites with fully-equipped kitchens.
