Need to Know Which of the Hotels in Lake Placid is the Best?

Any of these Lake Placid hotels will be sure to give you a comfortable stay.

All of the hotels in Lake Placid have one specific amenity that sets them above the rest - they're all located in one of the most picturesque villages in the Adirondacks. But even without that unfair advantage, you're certain to find one that has everything you're looking for, whether you need a simple overnight accommodation, you and your significant other decided on an impulsive weekend get-away, or you've planned a five-day vacation for your whole family. Adirondack chairs on Lake Placid Whatever the occasion, one of these hotels in Lake Placid will be just perfect.

Or maybe you're looking for a nice Lake Placid inn? Something with a cozy, private atmosphere where you can relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet? Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it here in Lake Placid.

I've made sure to include some privately-owned places, along with the typical hotel chains. Sometimes when I travel, I like to stay in some place that's unique, where all the rooms are different and not so "cookie-cutter". At other times, though, I like to stay where I can pretty much know what to expect, so for those times I want a national hotel chain. Maybe you're the same way?

I know how difficult it can be sometimes to find the right accommodations, especially if it's your first visit to a place. You search the internet, looking at websites and hoping against hope that the one you choose will really be as it's advertised to be. Sometimes it almost seems to be a matter of luck in choosing the right place.

So I want to share with you some of my favorites. The list isn't all that long yet, but I'll be expanding it as I get to Lake Placid to do more "research" (like it's work, or something!). For now, though, these are my top recommendations for hotels in Lake Placid, rated by both me and my website visitors.

This way, you can know that what you're reading here isn't just hype by the hotel management, but real opinions by real people. Does this mean that you're going to have exactly the same experience as someone else? Of course not. But at least you've got a good basis for comparison from real people who had a good time.
